José Antonio Ãlvarez: "Murcia has to grow without walls that divide it, without contamination and with the districts and the center progressing together" (23/02/2019)

The president of Somos Región and candidate for the Community, Alberto Garre, has asked the national parties to stop messing with the water issue.

"The transfers are technically, socially and legally viable and therefore, this party will never renounce them."

Alberto Garre: "If the Murcia decide to give us their confidence in the next general elections, they can have the absolute certainty that their mandate will be law."

This morning the candidate of Somos Región was presented to the Mayor's Office of Murcia.

José Antonio Álvarez (COKE), has presented the guidelines of his future project for the municipality, based on people, employment, transparency and participation, solidarity and a more sustainable city model.

Álvarez has referred to the inequality of attention to the residents of the districts, where most of the inhabitants of Murcia reside.

"The center of the city and the districts should grow together".

Pollution has also been present in his speech.

"Citizens are perplexed how the episodes of pollution in our city are repeated in the cities, which in the end results in adverse effects on health, especially in the population at greatest risk, such as children and the elderly.

The seventh city of Spain must be sustainable and for that it is necessary to expand pedestrian areas, improve public transport and pacify traffic. "

In the act, the secretary general and the president of Somos Región have also participated.

Garre has reviewed the current political situation both in the region and throughout the national territory and has asked the leaders of the rest of the parties to stop messing with the water issue.

"The transfers are technically, socially and legally viable and therefore, this party will never renounce them."

For Garre, the time has come for the Murcian society to show that we are not willing to be cheated on and that is why we wanted to send a clear message in this regard.

"If the Murcia decide to give us their confidence in the next general election, they can have absolute certainty that their mandate will be law."
