The NGOs take to the University of Murcia on Monday their projects against poverty in a day full of activities (22/02/2019)

The Minister of Family and Equality, Violante Tomás will present the social policies developed by CARM

ODSesiones, the program of activities of the University of Murcia for the awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, faces next Monday, February 25, a day full of educational, informative and recreational activities around objective 1: 'End of poverty'.

The program of the day is as follows:

09:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Solidarity Fair with NGO in Social Work

Information spaces of Jesus Abandoned, Abraham Project, Eticambio, Cáritas, CEPAIM, Health and Community Foundation, EMAUS, OIKIA, Red Cross will be installed.

10.30 am to 11.30 am Presentation of NGO poverty projects

Speakers: Andrés Duarte, Head of Service of the Department of Social Rights of the City of Murcia and May Penin Pina, president of the Association of Social Workers of the Region of Murcia.

4:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.

Workshop on residential exclusion

Workshop organized by CEPAIM and Health and Community Foundation.

Includes short film screening on residential exclusion.

Dynamic workshop on wealth, welfare and happiness

Interactive game to compare the concepts of wealth, well-being and happiness.
