Parks and Gardens will plant more than 100 trees in La Ñora that will offer shade to all the neighbors (20/02/2019)

Councilman José Guillén took the opportunity to remember that the project to improve the surroundings of the wheel of La Ñora, considered one of the greatest symbols of the Huerta de Murcia, is in drafting

The Councilor for Modernization of Administration and Urban Development, José Guillén, has toured the Murcia hamlet of La Ñora to make improvements in the green areas of it.

In this way, the City of Murcia continues its usual round of visits to the districts of the municipality.

In La Ñora, one of the main points of improvement has been the planting of more than a hundred specimens of pines and almeces in Miguel Ballesta avenue.

"We work so that the neighbors can enjoy green areas in perfect conditions, as they are spaces for meeting and meeting between neighbors.In Murcia, it is essential that these areas have shadows to be able to visit them throughout the year, for which trees are very important, this hundred of copies, which in addition to decorating, will also allow neighbors to walk through this area, very busy, since there is located the weekly market "José Guillén has highlighted.

With this action, we will be able to give a new green image and full of nature and life to the environment that surrounds this space.

In addition, trees reduce CO2 levels and allow residents of La Ñora to have a green lung in a strategic area of ​​the municipality.

In addition, Councilman José Guillén has taken the opportunity to remember the one in the drafting of the project to improve the environment of the wheel of La Ñora, considered one of the greatest symbols of Huerta de Murcia.

During the visit to the hamlet of Murcia, many parks have also been visited, including the one located on Príncipe Felipe Street, where it is planned to place different palm trees and improve the soil that will entail the placement of the well-known Sevillian albero.

In this same space will be carried out a transformation of the playground, for which the padded floor will be completely changed for the little ones, and a new microperforated awning will be installed that will allow light to pass through but not the sun's rays , thus achieving that the smallest can count the 365 days of the year with a playground available to play.

In addition, attending a neighborhood request of the elderly of the district, will be installed different games of gerontogimnasia in the Mirador garden, which will allow them to exercise easily and in contact with nature.
