The UCAM launches 'Innovative Leaders' a program for entrepreneurs who accept the challenge of innovation (20/02/2019)

"Innovating is learned by innovating" with this premise part 'Leaders Innovators', a program of the CATIN UCAM International Innovation Chair led by Juan Bernal.

The event was attended by Marta Grañó, an innovation consultant, who affirms that "innovation does not arise from the new technology, but from a different perspective"

The CATIN-UCAM International Chair of Innovation begins to walk with the aim of spreading the culture of innovation in the business sector, but also to introduce it into the educational field.

The General Director of Institutional Relations of the UCAM, José Luis Mendoza García says that "with this Chair we establish a strategic union between the University and the company that facilitates the transfer of knowledge and enables research."

In the presentation of CATIN, organized by the Technological Institute of Murcia (ITM) of the UCAM, its director, Juan Bernal, has affirmed that innovation is a key element for the future.

"In the Chair of Innovation of the UCAM we have programmed various activities for teachers, Master in Culture and Management of Innovation, as well as basic training in Innovation, however, the first project, which starts next March 8, is Innovative Leaders" .

A program that Bernal says "is committed to bringing the need to conceive innovation to the entrepreneurial fabric as a commitment to personal transformation, a necessary process for the future and a will to progress".

'Leaders Innovators' is a program of 114 hours, divided into four months with sessions on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, in which face-to-face, online sessions and visits to companies are contemplated.

The program is aimed at entrepreneurs who want to update their knowledge about digital transformation, business models, innovation processes, promotion of creativity, as well as motivate and mobilize the internal talent of their companies.

To do so, it has experts of recognized prestige such as Andrés Pedreño, former rector of the University of Alicante and an expert in artificial intelligence;

Olga Blanco (IBM);

Juanfra Abad, director of projects of the Chair;

Carlos Kuchkovski (New Digital Business BBVA);

Pablo Planes, CEO of Inforges;

Víctor Meseguer, director of the RSC Chair of the UCAM;

Josep Martínez Polo, professor at the School of Communication of the UCA;

María Beúnza and Belén Goñi, professors at the University of Navarra;

Fran Chuán, coach, advisor and writer of several books on innovation;

Franc Ponti, professor at EADA Business School in Barcelona;
