Councilor for Infrastructure, Public Works and Services and responsible for the Youth Service of the City of Murcia, Rebeca Pérez, has met with 18 correspondents of Youth Information Points (PIJ) of schools in the municipality of Murcia.
The PIJ are part of the project of decentralization and participation of the Informajoven, which pursues a double objective, on the one hand, to bring the information that this municipal service develops to the places where the youth population is concentrated and, on the other, to gather the information of its environment about the activities that are organized by or for young people.
This session has addressed issues related to the proper management of social networking platforms, privacy and security in the management of Internet resources.
These meetings are held once a month and the students are from public secondary schools, high school, public vocational training centers.
Students who voluntarily perform their work as a correspondent, receive, as consideration, a grant of 400 euros.
The councilor Rebeca Pérez has also provided the correspondents with a BonoBús card, so that these students can not bear any costs with respect to transport costs from their homes to the headquarters of the Informajoven center, to attend the meetings of training or coordination.
