The University of Murcia has obtained more than 900 acquisitions of the sports premium card since the beginning of the course.
It is a multi-sport ticket modality that allows to benefit from very low prices in the registration of activities and in the reservation of the UMU sports facilities.
In this way, users can practice sports on a regular basis without being subject to time constraints or a restricted number of activities.
This card can benefit both students, administration and services staff (PAS), teaching and research staff (PDI), who are part of the Association of alumni of UMU, as well as users outside the UMU that are interested in accessing sports activities and facilities at very low prices.
From March 1 to July 31, 2019, the prices of the premium card stipulated for each of these groups are the following:
Students of the UMU: from 6.5 euros / month
PAS and PDI: from 8.5 euros / month
Association of former students: from 10.5 euros / month
External users to the UMU: from 13 euros / month
The Sports Service is the motor of the sport activity of the University of Murcia.
It organizes periodic activities and is in charge of the management and maintenance of the modern sports facilities of the Espinardo Campus.
These include soccer fields with artificial turf, tennis and paddle courts, outdoor sports courts, two covered pavilions, a 400 square meter fitness room, multipurpose rooms dedicated to fitness, as well as an indoor swimming pool. 25 meters.
The service also organizes sports events of a punctual nature, such as popular races, university championships and other sports events of a multitudinous nature.
