The next acquisitions of vehicles of the Local Police will be carried out under criteria of sustainability (11/02/2019)

The Councilor for Traffic and Public Safety, Lola Sanchez, visited the Infante Barracks this morning to learn about the characteristics of a new hybrid vehicle assigned to the Local Police so agents can test their performance.

Sanchez has indicated that "the next acquisitions of vehicles will be made under criteria of sustainability so now agents will use this new vehicle, a Toyota Prius +, to patrol in Murcia and districts in order to make the appropriate considerations and thus adapt to our needs"

Thus, the agents will assess their ergonomics, ease of driving, power and equipment.

We must remember that the Ecological Patrol already uses motorcycles and electric bicycles to carry out their surveillance in the areas of vegetable garden, forest and gardens.
