Change Murcia proposes a 'bonoparquin' for Conservatory workers (11/02/2019)

Cambiemos Murcia today urged the municipal government and the company Urbamusa the establishment of a 'bonoparquin' for people working in the Conservatory and the library "Rio Seguro" can park their vehicles, at a cheaper price, in the parking lot of the Barracks of Artillery, municipal property after the break of the company Intersa.

Sergio Ramos, councilor of municipal training, has thus echoed the demands of Conservatory employees, who have been denouncing the situation of insecurity they live for weeks when they leave their vehicles in the car park known as "La chimenea", even reaching receive threats and suffer theft and damage to their cars.

"The option of these employees is to leave it in the parking lot of the Artillery Barracks, but it is very expensive, around 12 euros for a day's work tomorrow, and 15 if it is in the afternoon," said Ramos, for whom it is "necessary "To tackle this situation especially now, that said parking is owned by the municipal company Urbamusa.

The proposal of Cambiemos Murcia consists in the creation of bonuses for the personnel that work in the facilities of the Barracks, as teachers and labor personnel, so that they can leave their vehicles in that car park -which also tends to have a low number of cars- but at a lower price than the free rate, in the hours of school and work day.

Crystals broken by thefts

Ramos has also requested the municipal government to urgently assign more vigilance to the "La chimenea" deterrent parking to prevent more dangerous situations from occurring there.

"It is very common to see crystals on the floor as a result of theft in parked vehicles," he added.
