350 residents of Murcia demonstrate their loyalty to Spain in the Flag Jura (10/02/2019)

350 Murcia have sealed this morning their loyalty to the national flag in a mass Civil Jura that closes the acts of the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the General Air Academy, with the participation of more than a hundred members of the AGA and the Patrol Eagle.

In his speech, José Ballesta stressed that "the people of Murcia want to show their respect, sober, reflective, to the flag that welcomes all Spaniards, without distinction of ideologies of sexes, ages or origins. It unites us all Spaniards under the principle of freedom and equality, and that is the meaning of this act today. "

The day has begun with the surrender of honors to the flag and the National Anthem.

After receiving the News and passing the Magazine, the Oath has been proceeded by the authorized civilian staff (by means of the official formula contemplated in the Royal Decree) and, one by one, the jurors have kissed the flag.

In the act, José Ballesta, made the imposition of the tie to the flag of Spain and the General Air Academy.

After the intervention of the Colonel and the interpretation of the Hymn of the Air Force, an offering was made to the Fallen and a flyby of the Eagle Patrol, made up of seven C-101 aircraft.

Next, Teniente Flomesta Avenue has hosted a ground parade, accompanied by an aerial parade by the Spanish Air Force acrobatic group (Patrulla Águila).

The Mayor, José Ballesta, has been accompanied by the Squad of Spenders of the AGA, his Music Unit, a Squad of Knights and Ladies students of the AGA and the Eagle Patrol, which has twice left his wake in the sky of the capital of the Region.

To finalize the act, a reception was held in the Plenary Hall of the City of Murcia, in which the Colonel Director of the General Air Academy, Miguel Iborra has delivered to the mayor a commemorative sculpture of the 75th anniversary of the AGA .

For his part, José Ballesta, has given him a sculpture by González Moreno in which a Murcian woman is represented holding the coat of arms of the city of Murcia with the seven crowns and the heart.

With this, there are already three Civil Flag Juras that have had as protagonists the residents of Murcia in the last term: the previous two, in 2016 and this past 2018, registered a massive social participation.

75 years of history serving the Spanish

The AGA is an institution that has more than 75 years of history since July of 1943 was officially established as a training center for all officers of the Air Force.

Since its inception, more than 10,200 students have passed through this military training center for the formation of Scorecards.
