The UMU Business Talent program of the Chair of Business Excellence of the Fuertes Group starts this Friday, February 8, with an inaugural session in which the group's general director, Tomás Fuertes, will meet with the 21 students who have managed to be selected and participate in this training program.
The first promotion of the Business Talent 2019 program of the Chair of Business Excellence Grupo Fuertes is made up of 21 students, 11 women and 10 men, from the different degrees of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Murcia.
These are students who will finish their studies in 2019;
eight belong to the degree in Business Administration and Management, five to the program of simultaneous studies of the degree in Business Administration and Management and the degree in Law, four to the degree in Marketing and four to the degree in Economics.
They will work in seven groups, in which they will try to have different degrees so that each one contributes different skills according to their training.
The teams will work in a business simulation environment for ten weeks during which they will develop an action plan, prepare management reports, make presentations in the classroom and identify the practices learned.
All this will allow to establish relationships between the main decision areas of the company, key indicators and results ratios to enhance the competencies in the business management.
To encourage effort and motivation, they will have to participate in the international competition VII Iberoamerican Challenge in Business Simulation.
All these activities will be complemented by different group dynamics with Human Resources managers from Grupo Fuertes.
The program will end in May 2019 at the facilities of the company in Alhama with the day 'Directing for a day'.
The UMU Business Talent Program is one of the outstanding projects of the Chair Strong Group of Business Excellence, aimed at the development of business talent among students in the last years of the Faculty of Economics and Business, strengthening and developing social skills, communication, Language and personal habits among students, at the same time as they are introduced to the dynamics of decision making in the business world.
All this through a training program of 10 weeks, totally free for those who are selected.
The overall objective of this excellence program is to improve the employability of the graduates of the University of Murcia, establishing a direct connection between the business reality and the academic day to day of the students.
Those who participate will have the possibility of joining directly the staff of Grupo Fuertes.
