More than 1,500 people will participate in the Family Solidarity Cycling Tour (07/02/2019)

The Councilor for Social Rights and Development Cooperation, Conchita Ruiz, today presented the Solidarity Cycling Family Bike march that will take place on Sunday, February 24 and will leave from La Arrixaca school at 10:30 am, until reaching the school Our Lady of Bethlehem.

The route has 7 kilometers, which can be done by bicycle, walking, skating or running.

After the march, in which a participation of more than 1,500 people is expected, a musical show will be held by the animation team Activate your world.

There will also be other activities such as face painting, balloon twisting, an exhibition of Murcia Firefighters, as well as learn and practice first aid techniques by SEAMUR-Civil Protection volunteers in the field hospital that will be built in the school yard.

Afterwards, gifts donated by sports clubs, companies and businesses associated with the Association of Merchants of Vistalegre-La Flota will be raffled off.

"This event is a good opportunity to raise awareness among the little ones about the importance of being supportive and helping other people, in addition, coexistence between families and friends and sports is also enhanced," stressed Conchita Ruiz.

This event is organized by the associations of parents of the Fuenteblanca school, Luis Costa, Our Lady of Bethlehem, The Arrixaca, Our Lady of Atocha, The Fleet (APADUA), The Fleet, Maria Maroto, Fernandez Caballero, Santa Maria de Gracia and the IES La Flota and Alfonso X El Sabio.

In the Solidarity Cycling Tour in Family can participate all the people who wish and register on the web: http://marchasolidaria.org.

The bibs will be collected the same day of the test and for this you have to give in return a hygiene product, diapers or baby food in favor of the Red Cross of Murcia and donate a minimum of 5 euros per participant, including children.

The collection will be allocated entirely between the entities Fundación Vicente Ferrer, Asociación Soldados de Ainara and the Red Cross of Murcia.
