Carlos Balsalobre and Pedro Garrido, students of the titles of Development and Web Applications and Realization of Audiovisual Projects and Shows of UCAM FP, have been awarded by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports with the Extraordinary Prize in Higher Vocational Training for their academic records in the 2017-18 academic year.
Thus, the San Antonio Vocational Training Institute is the only private center with awarded students of the 17 winners, the remaining 15 belong to public centers.
"It has been two years of much learning that has helped me to find work relatively quickly", explained Carlos Balsalobre, awarded in the branch of Computing and Communication.
He also wanted to highlight the title teachers, "who have helped us a lot to have a solid foundation and face the future of work in a very capable way."
Pedro Garrido, who has been awarded in the professional family of Image and Sound, has explained that it was not what he was looking for, but "it does not stop being a great reward for the work done".
In addition, he highlighted the study environment and the teachers, "who have been unbeatable."
For his part, José Alarcón, director of the San Antonio Vocational Training Institute, wanted to value both the students' award and the work carried out by the center.
"For us it means the recognition of the merits of these students, Pedro and Carlos, as a reward for the effort made and, of course, the gratitude for the good work carried out by the teachers, who have the best resources and resources available to them. the students".
In addition, he also wanted to thank "the companies in which these students have done their internships as a very important part of their training".
