'If in the PSOE were less to do opposition to office and more to visit Murcia would know that since 2015 we have carried out 248 works in gardens of districts, something that neighbors know very well that every day enjoy them', explained the Councilor for Modernization of the Administration and Urban Development, José Guillén, in response to the PSOE.

To these actions it is necessary to add the installation in the gardens of the municipality of 203 zones of infantile games and 347 apparatus of gerontogimnasia, the creation of 46 areas for the canine recreation and the positioning of 27 pergolas that allow to enjoy the gardens with greater comfort.

The councilor added that "in addition to daily maintenance of more than 4 million square meters of green areas in the municipality, we have developed almost 250 projects for improvement and renovation in parks and gardens exclusively in districts, which explains itself only the attention and care we give them. "

Since 2015, 88 new parks and gardens have been created in neighborhoods and districts, with an increase of 300,000 m2, from 3.74 to 4.05 million m2, where nearly 600,000 flowering plants have been planted, more than 37,000 shrubs and 11,000 new trees, which has meant the withdrawal of more than 8,000 tons of CO2 from the atmosphere.

Guillén has ended saying that "the councilors of the PSOE seems to live on a permanent holiday and not find out that we are making our parks and gardens areas for children and adults to enjoy in pleasant environments, cared for, comfortable and attractive."

'If despite these figures the PSOE is able to criticize, the only thing it shows is that it speaks for speaking because its ignorance of our municipality is surprising and worrying', concludes Guillén
