Effective Prevention of Citizen Security of the Benemérita began the operation at the beginning of the year to investigate certain suspicions about the presence of an active point of sale of drugs in El Raal-Murcia.

The monitoring devices carried out on the property allowed the agents to verify that they received a high number of visits, mostly brief visits, which indicated that these were 'retail' drug transactions.
Once all the necessary evidence has been obtained, the civil guards have developed, with prior judicial authorization, the entry and registration of the property, in which a clandestine indoor marijuana greenhouse installed inside the house has been dismantled and with the capacity to cultivate intensively this substance.
The registration culminated with the seizure of more than a hundred marijuana plants, 100 grams of this substance arranged in buds and about one kilogram of hashish, as well as all the elements of lighting, heating, ventilation and irrigation that made up the greenhouse.
They also seized several large weapons.
After conducting the search, the Civil Guard arrested the person allegedly running the point of production and sale of drugs for the crimes of drug trafficking, cultivation and manufacture of drugs and defraudation of electricity.
The investigation shows that the clandestine greenhouse of marijuana now dismantled had a high production capacity, so it is estimated that if used continuously, it would be able to cultivate more than half a thousand plants per year.
The Spanish detainee, 27 years old, resident of Murcia and with a large criminal record, the drug seized, the effects seized and the diligences instructed have been made available to the Court of Instruction of Murcia (Murcia).
