The awarding of the supply of construction materials will allow the completion of the Aulario Fica work and the professional practices of various certificates of professionalism.

Thanks to this contract, the training activities of the Employment Service will be continued in various projects, including the completion of the new FICA building, annexed to the Tourist Qualification Center, whose works contract will be awarded in the coming months.

In addition to the work of adaptation of this new building, new interventions will be made in the Training Centers and Employment Initiatives of the City Council, consisting mainly of the renovation of tiling, flooring of classrooms and spaces that have adhesion defects, assembly of partitions of laminated plaster and new false ceilings and insulation in training rooms and other rooms to improve the acoustics and energy efficiency of the same.

It will also proceed to the renovation of the plumbing, sanitary, faucets, electricity and lighting fixtures, seeking a reduction in water consumption and an improvement in energy efficiency in the areas of action.

The future Aulario Fica, which will be located on the 1st and 2nd floors in the municipal property building annexed to the Tourist Qualification Center, will serve as an extension of the current Training Center and Employment Initiatives located in the fairgrounds.

These new facilities will occupy a total area of ​​1,477.80 m² distributed in six training rooms of between 48 m2 and 58 m2, a workshop classroom of 91 m2 and a computer classroom, equipped with audiovisual equipment and telecommunications.

In the adaptation of the building as a classroom will work a total of 38 students of the Mixed Training and Employment for Youth Program (PMEF-JV) of the specialties of masonry, carpentry, low voltage electricity, plumbing and heating and continuous coatings under construction .

Once completed and accredited by the Regional Employment and Training Service, this building will be used to provide the necessary training to obtain certificates of professionalism from different professional families.

The contract has been awarded to the Mercantile and Corporate Services for 636,999 euros.
