The City Council offers 386,000 euros in subsidies to associations of neighborhoods and districts (01/02/2019)

The Governing Board has given its approval to the regulatory bases of the call for granting 2019 grants for the promotion of citizen participation in the municipality of Murcia.

In this way, existing associations in different neighborhoods and districts can access a total of 386,000 euros, representing 43% more than last year.

The objective of this call is to grant aid to non-profit entities and associations in order to continue advancing in the strengthening of the associative movement, in order to favor the development of those tasks and activities that contribute to the development of municipal boards.

Thus, the municipal boards of districts that have determined grant subsidies to their associations during the current year 2019 are La Alberca, Algezares, Aljucer, Alquerías, Cabezo de Torres, Los Dolores, Esparragal, Gea and Truyols, Guadalupe, Javalí Viejo, Nonduermas, El Palmar, Bacons Bridge, El Puntal, Los Ramos, Rincón de Beniscornia, Rincón de Seca, Sangonera la Seca, Santa Cruz, Santo Ángel, Sucina, Zarandona, San José De La Vega, Espinardo, San Ginés, Patiño and San Pío X , while the districts are Santa Maria de Gracia-San Antonio, La Flota-Vistalegre, Center-West, Center-East, El Carmen and Infante.

In this way, activities aimed at the group of citizens and the empowerment of their associations, cultural activities, tourism, celebrations, sports, education, youth, health, environment, cooperation, consumption, social services, etc., can be subsidized. others, the operation and maintenance expenses of the association itself, as well as small repair works that do not involve an increase in the assets of the association and activities that complement the performance of the City Council and its Citizen Participation bodies.

Associations and non-profit organizations that meet the following requirements may be beneficiaries:

- Have its registered office or delegation in the municipality of Murcia and develop its activity in the territorial scope of the corresponding Municipal Board.

- Have among its purposes the realization of general or specific projects that serve to complement or reinforce the actions provided by each Municipal Board in its territorial scope, according to objective criteria that weigh the importance and representativeness of each of them.

- Not be beneficiaries of any help or economic contribution of another council of the City of Murcia or dependent body, for the activity for which this grant is requested.

- Be up to date with payment of your tax obligations with the local Treasury

- Be up to date in the fulfillment of their tax obligations and in front of the Social Security according to current legislation.

A period of 20 calendar days is established for the submission of applications counted from the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.
