The Department of Urban Planning, Environment, Water and Vegetable Garden, directed by Antonio Navarro, has designed a varied program of activities that will take place between January and May and with which it aims to enhance training, awareness and environmental awareness of the population of the municipality.
The new proposal is composed of a total of 21 activities (3 Seminars and Nature Workshops, 12 itineraries and guided environmental routes, and 6 activities of the municipal environmental volunteer program) to be developed in different natural areas of the municipality.
The environmental volunteer program of the City of Murcia will develop activities related to the knowledge of the Huerta de Murcia.
To this end, initiation activities have been programmed for organic farming in the municipal garden plot of Sangonera la Verde.
La Contraparada will be another of the spaces where activities will be carried out within this new programming.
In this environment activities will take place to raise awareness of the vegetation and the diversity of this space, in addition to carrying out public awareness activities for which a waste collection activity has been programmed for the environment.
The municipal forest spaces such as the Majal Blanco Municipal Forest Park or the Los Ginovinos farm will also house different activities such as guided environmental routes and nature seminars and workshops for the whole family, with which the youngest of the family will be able to know the great biodiversity of the area. natural environment of the municipality.
Through this program you will visit other natural areas of the municipality of great environmental and patrimonial relevance through routes such as the flowering of the almond tree in La Murta, a tour of the Rambla del Cigarrón or the ascent to the Castillo de la Asomada.
As a novelty in this period, an itinerary has been included along the Senda Bonita and the King Kong Walls.

Seminars and Workshops of Nature in the White Majal
3 intense workshops have been scheduled in direct contact with one of the best preserved natural environments of the municipality.
The workshops are held on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Registration is € 5 (free for children under 17, over 65 and unemployed).
