Martínez-Cachá: "The PSOE disregards the recovery of Monteagudo Castle and only worries about making cash" (29/01/2019)

He warns the socialist candidate for mayor of Murcia, José Antonio Serrano that "if Monteagudo is your flagship, you must ensure that your party will respond, because today the commitment of the PSOE is null"

It defends the "priority character" that the project has for the PP and indicates to the PSOE "that we are not going to consent to a decision with which we feel cheated and defrauded"

Remember that "recover the historical heritage of Murcia requires the participation of the three administrations and the PP works on an agreement that claims joint action"

The deputy secretary of Organization of the Popular Party of the Region of Murcia, Adela Martínez-Cachá has appeared on Tuesday at a press conference accompanied by the Councilman of Pedanías of the City of Murcia, Marco Antonio Fernandez, to denounce that "the PSOE wants to make cash with the Castle of Monteagudo ignoring its recovery ".

Thus it has remarked that "the delegate of Sanchez in the Region, Diego Conesa, intends to disappear from everything that has to do with the project of Monteagudo, aims to take a cut at the expense of rehabilitation."

In this regard has specified that "the PP will not consent to a decision for which we feel cheated and defrauded" and added that "it is an unprecedented action to expropriate a Property of Cultural Interest (BIC)

So sharp has been expressed after learning the allegations made by the Government of Spain delegation to the City of Murcia to expropriate about 13,547 square meters of land on the slope of the Castle of Monteagudo, "a formula has highlighted the "popular" vicesecretary who has defined as "an idea of a government that is not to be trusted".

"It is paradoxical and incomprehensible that the Administration has to expropriate the property that will be the object of recovery on their part, and that has generated the need for the start of the acquisition of land," said the deputy secretary of the PPRM, to underline that "the intention of the Executive of Sanchez is to pass to the Town Hall of Murcia, after the payment of an economic amount, the ownership of the plots so that the whole project is of municipal exclusiveness".

"It does not seem very coherent that the ministry commits itself to the restoration of the fortress and the delegation of the Treasury suggests that the City Hall remain, declining the commitment of the same."

For this reason, he has warned the socialist candidate for mayor of Murcia, José Antonio Serrano who has said that "Monteagudo is one of their flagships" that "take care to see how your party responds, because today's commitment to his own candidate is null. "

In this regard, has said "a flagship that Serrano sinks before you start."

In this regard, he regretted that "in addition to the Government of Sanchez has not consigned a single euro in the General State Budget for 2019 to recover the Castle of Monteagudo, dare to ask the Murcia Consistory the expropriation of the land," This has ensured "only has a single purpose and is the collection."

For Martínez-Cachá "the PSOE of Sanchez's friend in the region is a specialist in throwing balls out and the only thing they intend with this is not to assume their responsibility", for which he has clarified that "Monteagudo is a fundamental part of the heritage of Murcia and all the administrations must be involved to recover it, the national one also because it is a priority project for President López Miras and for Ballesta who works in an agreement with the three administrations because "recovering Murcia's historical heritage requires a joint action".

Finally, he recalled that "the Government of the PP consigned in the previous budgets 1,200,000 euros for this project and drafted the Master Plan", a plan that has underlined "to date we do not know what they will do with it because there is no in the PGE to bring it to fruition ".
