For the mayor, "the exceeding in 2018 of limit values ​​for particles on two occasions and of twenty-five days a year in the objective value established by the legislation for tropospheric ozone, show that it is necessary that the City Council take the fight seriously against atmospheric pollution. "

For the municipal training, which includes proposals of the annual report on air quality of Ecologists in Action, the Autonomous Community has the obligation to improve an Atmospheric Surveillance Network that is "insufficient and obsolete", so they ask that at least be installed one more measuring station in the municipality of Murcia and that all existing ones adapt to PM2.5 particle control, potentially more dangerous than those already measured ".

According to Guerrero, "it is important that the regional and municipal regulations also include the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) that establish more restrictive limits than the current ones." The unanimity of the medical community regarding the effects of pollution should serve also for the Ministry of Health to launch epidemiological studies to analyze the public health impacts of pollution in the municipality. "

In the motion, which proposes eight agreements, there is also talk of extending the anti-pollution protocol of the municipality to the districts of the Campo de Murcia and others that are not included in the current one, such as Zeneta or Barqueros, and that the Autonomous Community is urged to design a specific tropospheric ozone control plan.
