The University of Murcia has organized this Friday the act of delivery of the third edition of the 'Awards of the Chair of Water and Sustainability to the best master's degree projects', which took place in the hall of the faculty of Straight.
The winners of this edition, who have briefly presented the results of their work, have been:
In the modality of technical-experimental studies:
Abderrazak The Aatik Chouari.
Prize to the work "Elimination of herbicide residues in water through photocatalytic adsorption and oxidation processes".
María del Carmen González Gómez.
Accésit al trabajo "Toxicity of chlorpyrifos and triclosan-associated to microplasic (polyvinyl chloride) in the Artemia salina species".
In the form of social and legal studies:
José Alberto Redondo Orts.
Prize to the work "Economic repercussions of the drought 2015-2018 in the irrigation of the Segura hydrographic demarcation".
Iván Rodríguez Florido.
Accésit al trabajo "The urban water supply service: management forms and prices".
The event was attended by Alicia Rubio, vice-chancellor of Employment, Entrepreneurship and Society;
Teresa María Navarro, director of the Chair of Water and Sustainability;
and José Albaladejo, manager of the Municipal Water and Sanitation Company of Murcia.
