The Municipal Executive of the PSOE celebrates the third monographic day, which on this occasion will be on "Murcia, a sustainable municipality, a look into the future", tomorrow, Saturday, January 26, starting at 09:15 p.m. the Faculty of Letters of the University of Murcia.
The general secretary of the PSRM, Diego Conesa, and the general secretary of the Municipal Executive and mayoral candidate of Murcia, José Antonio Serrano, will offer a contact with the media at 10am.
The objective of the day is to provide a space for debate and participation with experts in urban planning, mobility, energy or water, among other topics, in order that "the conclusions enrich our program and, above all, our concept of municipality ", explained the socialist candidate for mayor of Murcia, José Antonio Serrano.
The former PSOE Housing Minister, Beatriz Corredor, will take part in the event, which will address the challenges set out in the 2030 Agenda;
the Vice Chancellor of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, Marcos Ros, who will talk about urban planning, gardening and land management;
Francisco Ruipérez, representative of the Platform 'La Costera Sur is also Murcia', which will deal with sustainable mobility;
Juan Ramón Escoda, from the Association of Environment Companies, which will focus on circular economy;
Miguel Ángel Esteve, professor at the University of Murcia, who will speak on environmental quality;
Emilio Ballester, from the Sustainable Development Foundation, will refer to energy, and Pablo Cascales de Paz, from Aguas de Murcia, to the sustainable water cycle.
Serrano said that "the project of the municipality in the medium or long term should be based on sustainability in all its areas.We can not think about tomorrow's Murcia without taking into account its social, economic and environmental sustainability".
