The City of Murcia, through the Department of Modernization of Urban Administration and Development directed by José Guillén, constantly inspects the different spaces and green areas of the municipality of Murcia.

This morning, the councilman has moved to the Garden of the South Round Lake to supervise the work of revision and pruning of thirty tipuanas that are located in this area.

These specimens measure between 9 and 10 meters and the objective of these works is to eliminate the dry branches that may damage its structure and guarantee, once again, its good health.

To carry out the pruning is using a lifting platform with a team of three people who for several days will review and prune in height these 'giants' that characterize numerous spaces and green areas of the municipality.

In the municipality there are 35,000 trees of great size, which measure between 9 and 12 meters as almeces, jacarandas, hispanic plátanus or catalpas.
