The Murcian will be able to show their loyalty to Spain in the Flag Jura on Sunday, February 10 (25/01/2019)

The seven C-101 planes of the Eagle Patrol will draw in the sky of Murcia the colors of the national flag, in an act that can be added up to 300 neighbors who wish to express their individual commitment to our country.

The Oath, which puts the finishing touch to the events of the 75th anniversary of the AGA, will be held at Avenida Teniente Flomesta, beginning at 11.30.

To participate you can download the form on the website 'eventos.murcia.es' and submit it completed in the Communication Office of the City Council, along with a copy of the DNI.

The Mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, and the Colonel Director of the General Air Academy (AGA) of San Javier, Miguel Ivorra, together with the Delegate of Defense in the Region, José Ignacio Martí, today presented the Civil Oath of the Flag to be held on Sunday, February 10, at Avenida Lt. Flomesta, and which will feature the residents of Murcia, who will be able to demonstrate their loyalty to the national flag on a solemn day that closes the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the AGA, with the participation of more than a hundred members of the AGA and the Eagle Patrol.

"The flag is a symbol of civilization that recognizes the trace of our ancestors and written history among all, is the symbol of that superior concept we call Spain, which was the one that guaranteed our reconciliation and forged our democracy, providing us with the principles of equality and freedom on which our coexistence and progress is based, "said José Ballesta.

The mayor added that "the Oath or Civil Promise means acquiring an individual commitment for the common good, each one from its scope or social work, in a civic, public and individual expression of loyalty towards Spain and towards the Spaniards".

The Oath of Civilian Personnel will be held at Avenida Teniente Flomesta de Murcia, on Sunday, February 10, starting at 11.30.

The event will be attended by the AGA Scuders Squad, its Music Unit, a Squad of Knights and Ladies students of the AGA and the Eagle Patrol, which will leave its stele twice in the sky of the capital of the Region.

Donation of a pastry chef with the emblems of the Air Force

At the press conference held at City Hall, the presentation of the pastry donated by the City of Murcia to the AGA, on the occasion of its 75th anniversary.

This tapestry, with the emblem of the combat unit of the Air Force ALAnº12, its famous cat and the legend 'Do not look for it three feet ...', has measures of 2.90 x 2 meters and has been made in a cloth with a shield embroidered in silk and gold thread with appliqués.

With this, there are already three Civil Flag Juras that have had as protagonists the residents of Murcia in the last term: the previous two, in 2016 and this past 2018, registered a massive social participation.

75 years of history serving the Spanish

During his speech, José Ballesta thanked the AGA for its involvement with the city of Murcia, an institution that has more than 75 years of history since it was officially established in July 1943 as a training center for all Army officers. Air".

Since its inception, more than 10,200 students have passed through this military training center for the formation of Scorecards.

"The AGA is an institution deeply linked to the history of Murcia.

To participate in this Oath of civil personnel you can download the form on the website 'eventos.murcia.es' and submit it completed in the Communication Office of the City Council (ground floor of La Glorieta), along with a copy of your ID, at time from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., from Monday to Friday. You can also go to the headquarters of the Delegation of Defense in Murcia and the AGA of San Javier.

Registration until February 5.

There is a maximum of 300 applications that will be granted in order of registration.

All participants, who must be over 18 years of age, will receive an individualized certificate.

Offering to the Fallen, parade and flight of the Eagle Patrol

The act will begin with the surrender of honors to the flag and the National Anthem.

After receiving the News and passing the Journal, the Oath or Pledge will be carried out by the authorized civilian personnel (by means of the official formula contemplated in the Royal Decree) and, one by one, the jurors will pass to kiss the flag.

After the intervention of the Colonel and the interpretation of the Hymn of the Air Force, there will be an Offering to the Fallen and an overflight of the Eagle Patrol will take place, made up of seven C-101 aircraft.

Next, the Avenida Teniente Flomesta will host a ground parade, accompanied by an aerial parade by the Spanish Air Force acrobatic group (Patrulla Águila).
