The UCAM Murcia CB drops to Herbalife Gran Canaria after a bad return of the locker room (90-82) (20/01/2019)

Crazy match in the Gran Canaria Arena that fell on behalf of Herbalife.

The Canaries, who endorsed 65 points in the second half to the Murcia, made use of a great third quarter.

The college students, who managed to win 22 points before the break, deflated in a third quarter in which it cost them 5 minutes to score the first basket.

Both for Herbalife Gran Canaria and for the UCAM Murcia CB was a very important match.

Both teams, with 5 wins, needed to return to triumph in the national competition to get away from the dangerous areas of the classification.

The university students had come from winning their tenth game in the Basketball Champions League, while the Canaries could not do the same in the Euroleague.

The first quarter started with a triple of Strwberry, which was answered with two triplazos followed by Damjan Rudez, very concentrated and participative from the first second.

The free throws were close to Las Palmas, but Rudez had the doll hot, and scored his third triple in less than 5 minutes.

The two teams made mistakes in the attack, and the defenses had their effect, leaving the score low, but the TL (the UCAM Murcia CB fell into a bonus before the middle of the quarter) put the score tighter.

They finished the first 10 minutes with a steal from Oleson that culminated in the Askia Booker race (14-18).

After the break, the UCAM Murcia CB knew he had to keep rowing to take advantage.

Mitrovic and Radoncic appeared and put the maximum until now for college students (16-25).

He had to stop Herbalife Gran Canaria, because they did not tie good attacks and in defense they were overcome by Murcia's drive, which continued adding and chained a partial 2-26 (or 0-20).

The islanders awoke timidly, and shortened the distance a little, but two fouls in attack taken from the sleeve of Sadiel Rojas and the free throws, kept the advantage for the Murcia at halftime (25-43).

The two teams returned from dressing rooms, and Herbalife Gran Canaria had made the break well.

They defended with more intensity and managed to make peace with the triple.

The UCAM Murcia CB, somewhat less lucid than in the second quarter, saw it as a 13-4 start again put the game in dispute (38-47).

Rabaseda plugged three triples in a row, and although the Murcians kept scoring, they missed two 2 + 1s.

The canaries controlled the rebound and, within a minute of the end of the third quarter, managed to tie the game.

The nerves played bad tricks and the university students danced in the direction of the ball.

He finished the third quarter with a tie in the electronic (62-62).

And the Canarian team came back out with great force in the last quarter, making a 15-0 start.

The UCAM Murcia CB did not find his game and sank into long and safe possessions.

The hoop became small and the Herbalife Gran Canaria was a steamroller driven by Oriol Paulí.

It was in the fifth minute of the quarter when the academics scored their first basket (Doyle's triple).

Soko pulled the car but the difference was already insurmountable, and although the score was tightened in the last minutes, Las Palmas were worth the good second half they had done (90-82).

The best: Milton Doyle (15 points, 3 rebounds, 13 valuation);

and Askia Booker (17 points, 3 assists).
