The Catholic University of Murcia reinforces its commitment to internationalization through the 'Spanish Winter Program', through which 55 students from various universities in China such as Chongqing and 11 from the Kyungpook National University of South Korea will learn Spanish on campus from Los Jerónimos.

"It is the largest group we have had so far in this program and that means we have a very good dissemination and that the university is taking a big boom in Spanish courses for foreigners," said Carolina Padilla, coordinator of courses of Spanish of the UCAM.

In addition to the Spanish classes, they will receive information about different aspects of the culture and the most representative places in the Region of Murcia.

"The students who have come have no knowledge of Spanish, so they will reach level A1 due to the duration of the course," said Carolina Padilla.

However, the UCAM, through the Higher School of Languages, offers levels of A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2.

In addition, it should be remembered that the Catholic University of Murcia is the examining center of the Cervantes Institute and official examinations and different calls are carried out throughout the year.

The UCAM has also received the visit of four representatives of the governing body of the Kyungpook National University (Daewo, South Korea), a university interested in establishing relations with the Catholic Church of Murcia in various areas.

"Both in possible double degrees, projects for summer courses, lines of research and exchange of students", explained Ernesto García, project manager of the International Educational Projects Unit of the UCAM.
