The City of Murcia, through the Department of Modernization of Urban Administration and Development directed by José Guillén, begins the pruning of more than 15,000 copies of orange trees in the municipality of Murcia.

This action will allow to reduce the possible inconvenience that may have the neighbors when walking through its streets or garden areas, avoiding possible trips with these fruits, while doing a task of cutting the copy to grow healthier.
With the pruning of these specimens a rounded and more harmonious aspect of the orange trees is achieved, promoting a greater flowering and development of the shoots, as well as a better image of the streets and public roads of the municipality.
In total they are expected to collect around 640 tons of oranges from more than 15,000 trees in Murcia and districts.
