The contracting table retakes the procedure to award the new Parks and Gardens contract (09/01/2019)

After the favorable report issued by the Central Administrative Court of Contractual Resources, the City continues with the file and has opened the bids submitted to the 7 lots to contract maintenance and conservation of green areas of the municipality, which also includes supplies, restorations and renovations of the areas that require it, as well as the drafting of a Master Plan for the Trees

The contracting table has resumed the procedure for the contracting of the services of conservation, maintenance and restoration of the gardens, trees of alignment, medians and roundabouts of the municipality of Murcia, as well as the necessary supplies promoted by the Department of Modernization of the Administration and Urban Development, directed by José Guillén.

The process continues once the Central Administrative Court of Contractual Resources has issued a favorable opinion to the City Council.

In total, 8 interested companies have been presented in lot 1, referring to the maintenance, conservation and restoration of municipal green areas and alignment trees.

The awardees must have a minimum workforce of 188 workers.

In lot 2-maintenance, conservation and restoration of medians and roundabouts-6 companies have attended, and an equal number have submitted bids to lot 3, consisting of maintenance, conservation and restoration of lakes and ornamental fountains.

The supply of flower plants for replenishments in green, medium and roundabout areas (lot 4) has attracted the interest of 2 companies.

Also the supply of materials for reforms in gardens (lot 5) and the Master Plan of the Trees (lot 7) have registered two proposals each.

Finally, a single company has been interested in lot 6, supply of furniture for garden renovations.

The specifications provide for a budget of 58,997,161.40 euros and a duration until November 30, 2022, except lot 7, which will be eight months.

It may be extended expressly for a period of one year (except lot 7, which has no possibility of extension), with a maximum term of five years.
