The University of Murcia opens this Thursday, January 10, the new installation of The Whispering Plants Mutation project of Roslim Dew, which will take place in the ES / UM space of the Campus de la Merced, at 8:00 p.m.
The title of the project alludes to the sentimental link that exists between the natural elements of the landscape with the emotions we experience in places, evoking the idea of ​​the whisper of plants, as something subtle and almost imperceptible.
Through botany as the main driving element, this installation displays a language of symbols where the concept of 'emotional geography', among others, becomes patent and tries to understand the affective bond that exists between a space and our perception of it.
Based on this premise, a synergy between the real and the imaginary is staged through artistic practice.
The installation, curated by Professor Victoria Chezner, can be visited until January 31, 2019.
