FEREMUR works together with the City of Murcia in the opening of libraries on weekends during exams (09/01/2019)

The Regional Federation of Students Murcianos Feremur, majority and representative of 75% of the associated students of secondary education, has held a meeting with the Councilor for Heritage, Education and relations with the University, Rafael Gómez.

The Student Federation has asked the City of Murcia to open libraries and study rooms on weekends in Murcia and districts during the exam period.

Rafael Gómez has picked up the proposal and advances that he will work jointly with the Federation to carry out this project.

During the past year, more than 12,000 students made use of this service, which was offered during the weekends of January-February and May-June.

The student federation stresses that "students will have more than 600 reading and study positions open on weekends, also enjoying a free Wi-Fi service," according to a Feremur statement.
