The City Council intensifies the cleaning in the supply places due to the Improvement and Modernization Plan that is being carried out by Comercio (04/01/2019)

The councilors Maruja Pelegrín and Rebeca Pérez have visited the Saavedra Fajardo grocery store to supervise the intensive cleaning that is being carried out during these days

In addition, it has also renewed the lighting of five squares of supplies with the installation of 320 points of light and have replaced the doors, now automatic, of the Plaza de San Andrés

The City of Murcia, through the Department of Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, which represents Rebeca Perez and in collaboration with the Department of Commerce and Institutional Relations, directed by Maruja Pelegrin, is performing intensive cleanings in markets to be in perfect conditions these holidays.

These works will be carried out in coordination with the Market Inspection Service, they are being carried out in Murcia squares and districts.

In addition to the ordinary service that is carried out every day in the market places of the municipality, the Market Inspection Service, in coordination with the Cleaning Services of the City of Murcia, work together to perform these intensive cleanings.

"Christmas is one of the times in which Murcia visit more places of supply, so it is important that these spaces are always in perfect condition and encourage citizens to know and enjoy the quality products that can be find in these emblematic buildings of our municipality "Maruja Pelegrín has highlighted.

The team that will act is composed of two brigades, formed by two specialists pawns, with cleaning equipment to perform the work in detail of corners, tiles, glass, stairs, doors, air conditioning, lighting, blinds, polished floor, etc.

In the squares of Murcia and districts (La Alberca, Cabezo de Torres and Espinardo), work has also intensified.

In the two most affluent squares (Verónicas and Saavedra Fajardo), a continuous service has been arranged in the morning for the cleaning of toilets and emergencies.

"We are working so that the supply places of the municipality are in perfect conditions, in addition to the means we put in order to ensure that everything is clean, we also ask for citizen collaboration to be able to enjoy our care-giving municipality" added Rebeca Pérez.

Trade renews the lighting of five places of supply with the installation of 320 points of light

The Department of Commerce, Organization and Institutional Relations, directed by Maruja Pelegrín, has installed 75 points of light in the market of La Alberca, within the Plan of Modernization of the eight Supply Plazas of the municipality.

These actions include the project of renovation and improvement of the lighting of these facilities, both to reinforce their intensity and to obtain greater efficiency, with a lower consumption thanks to the installation of led.

These points of light, added to those already installed in the markets of San Andrés, Vistabella, El Carmen and Espinardo, add up to 320 units of led luminaire renewed and a total expenditure of more than 25,000 euros.

The Plaza de San Andrés opens automatic doors

On this occasion, the Department of Commerce and Institutional Relations, headed by Maruja Pelegrín, has allocated an expense of 21,000 euros for the replacement of the two doors of the San Andrés market.

The new ones provide greater security, they are smaller than the old ones and they work automatically, unlike the previous ones, which were manual.
