The Minister of Tourism and Culture, Miriam Guardiola, delivered today at the Museum of Fine Arts of Murcia (Mubam) the awards of the children's drawing contest 'Pinta la Navidad', aimed at children between 3 and 12 years.
The activity, included in the special Christmas program of the regional museums, took place on December 27 at the Mubam de Murcia and also at the Regional Museum of Modern Art of Cartagena (Muram), which will present its respective prizes tomorrow.
Guardiola noted that "this year almost a hundred children have participated, both in Murcia and Cartagena, in this activity, which joins the numerous workshops and visits organized by the Ministry, activities that are still being held this week and with the that our museums become every Christmas a meeting place where families and children can enjoy the culture in a didactic and fun way ".
In the first category, children from 3 to 5 years old have been awarded in the Mubam contest Elia Ibáñez Martínez, Leonardo Gazza López and José Cuenca Buendía, and in the 6 and 7 years, Antonio García López, Marta López Pérez and Carlos Rivas Nicolás.
In the next group, aged 8 and 9, Juan Manuel Ruipérez Mellado, Lucía Valverde Mus and Miguel Ballester Martínez have received the corresponding prizes, while in the last category, from 10 to 12 years, the jury has selected Claudia's drawings Rivas Nicolás, Julia González García and Lola Galindo Ortuño.
All of them have received lots of educational and artistic material.
