The Magi give presents to Murcia with "equality, security and solidarity" this 2019 (02/01/2019)

The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, together with the Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesus Pacheco, today presented to the representatives of Their Majesties the Kings of the East in the Municipality of Murcia, "who will honor our city with three gifts : equality, security and solidarity;

three values ​​that suppose a recognition to the coexistence ".

Specifically, the representatives of the Three Kings are the president of the Committee of Representatives of People with Disabilities of the Region of Murcia (CERMI), Pedro Martinez Lopez, the colonel director of the General Air Academy, Miguel Ivorra Ruiz, and the volunteer of Cáritas Siaka Coulibaly.

In the act, which also was presented to the Christmas Star, which this year will be the Infant Queen of Huerta 2018, Alba Ros Garcia, the representatives of Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar expressed their "illusion and tremendous joy for this appointment that will allow them to live the most magical Twelfth Night of their lives ".

Tour of the city and reception at City Hall

The Band that realizes the Change of the Real Guard in Buckingham Palace will open the Cavalcade.

The day before, Friday, January 4, The Band of The Grenadier Guards' (United Kingdom) will offer a parade along the Gran Vía as a pre-action to the night of Kings.

Following the theme of the parade, traditional stories will be distributed ('The musicians of Bremen', 'Hansel and Gretel', 'Pinocchio', 'Little Red Riding Hood', etc.), among the youngest, to encourage reading.

It will be a parade of about two hours with numbers and international groups (French and English comparsas), which will add light and magic to the elements that have become essential of the Cabalgata, such as the representation of Real Murcia, the cast of muffins or the old vehicle of the Firemen.
