Serrano thanks the contributions of the economic organizations (27/10/2018)

After the Conference on Economy and Employment held today, the candidate of the PSOE Murcia City Council talks about five areas of action: the generation of employment, tourism, the economy at the service of citizenship, progressive and fair taxation and sustainable development

The socialist candidate for the Mayor of Murcia said, during the Conference on Economy and Employment held this morning, that the "valuable contributions made by economic organizations that have participated today will allow us to exercise the art of listening, taking good note of indispensable initiatives so that the policy responds to the reality of the street and from the knowledge that gives the experience ".

For Serrano "this municipality, wrapped in that varnish of showcase policy, where inequality does not stop growing, requires a serious reflection, like the one we are doing, to transform the present and channel the future towards a horizon of integration and progress" .

In addition, the socialist candidate wanted to clarify that his commitment is "to adopt measures that allow the effective and real participation of citizens to define and manage a new economic, social and political model, based on the essential values of human dignity, solidarity , ecological sustainability, social justice, democratic participation and transparency ".

In this sense, Serrano believes that we must work in "areas such as suppliers, financial management, employment, the ecological impact of municipal activity, the generation of new companies, the development of research and technology, among other bets , must generate viable projects that promote decent employment and general well-being. "In particular, the socialist candidate talks about five areas of action: the generation of employment, tourism, the economy at the service of citizenship, progressive and fair taxation and sustainable development.

It also states that there are five closed axes, since the residents of Murcia can continue to contribute ideas, because "Murcia must be an open, participatory and locally responsible project".
