The PSOE remarks that "the team and the fans of Real Murcia can not be abandoned" and calls for "more involvement" of the institutions (26/10/2018)

The Municipal Socialist Group joins the campaign initiated by the Federation of Peñas del Real Murcia (Fepemur) to raise funds to pay the outstanding payrolls of footballers, technicians and workers of this centennial club and which is the most established sports institution social status of the Region, as evidenced by the fact that this season has 10,775 subscribers despite the fact that the team remains anchored in Second Division B.

The councilors of the PSOE, like those of most of the political groups represented in the City Council, have received the president of the Fepemur, Pablo Guzmán, and have collaborated with the cause by buying the solidarity bracelets that have been put up for sale, price of one euro, to help club professionals.

Most of the players and technicians of Murcia accumulate almost three months without receiving and some employees up to six, so the situation is unsustainable for a team that is facing the field and is the third classified of group IV in the Bronze category and fight for promotion to the League 1/2/3.

Almost 40,000 of these bracelets have already been sold in just three days, according to Guzmán, who has commented that "all aid is little" in the face of the mismanagement of the leaders, headed by Victor Gálvez as current president.

The spokesperson of the PSOE in the Consistory, Susana Hernández;

and also the socialist councilor Juan Vicente Larrosa have agreed that "the team and the fans can not be abandoned" and have pointed out that the institutions "have to be involved, even more so when from outside Murcia they are turning with this initiative of the rocks ".

Not in vain, Peñas de Elche and Castellón, among other localities, have been put to work with various initiatives to raise funds that would also be to pay payroll in Murcia.

The editors of the PSOE have stressed that the support they claim is for the fans and for the professionals who represent the club and "not for the businessmen who have long wanted to do business with Real Murcia and have taken it to bankruptcy with the OK from the PP. "
