Citizens take forward the proposals presented today in the Plenary (25/10/2018)

The approved motions refer to the creation of a regulation on the figure of the official chronicler, the provision of public places for associations and groups of El Palmar, as well as the implementation of a Local Council to promote the circular economy, and a Plan Municipal against the loneliness of the elderly

In addition, during the plenary session a consensus has been reached, through a joint text, to correct the deficiencies of the school Antonio Delgado Dorrego of Sangonera La Verde

Today have been approved unanimously in the Plenary of Murcia three of the five initiatives defended by the ediles of Citizens: one of them, at the proposal of the spokesman of Cs, Mario Gomez, for the creation of a regulation to regulate the figure of the official chronicler ;

and two others, with the inclusion of several contributions from the political groups of the corporation, so that the public associations and collectives of El Palmar can be provided with public premises and can meet and carry out their activities;

and for the implementation of a Municipal Plan to promote active aging and against the loneliness of the elderly.

These last two initiatives have been defended by the mayor Paqui Pérez.

Quality education

A joint text has also been approved, following the motion presented by councilor Pilar Muñoz, urging the local, regional and municipal governments to give priority to the actions to be carried out at the Antonio Delgado Dorrego school in Sangonera la Verde to avoid vandalism, improve infrastructure and educational quality.

Circular Economy

The last of the initiatives, defended by the mayor Carlos Peñafiel and approved by majority, refers to the creation of a Local Council to promote the circular economy, as well as the implementation of a master plan that serves to order the measures to be adopted for the promotion and promotion of the necessary actions to achieve this production model that allows the municipality of Murcia to face future environmental, economic and social challenges.

Palmeral of Zaraíche

During the plenary session, a joint motion submitted by the opposition political groups was approved, which has finally become an institutional declaration for the recovery of the Palmerales Chico and Grande, the acequia and the Palmeral House of the district of Santiago and Zaraíche.
