The University of Murcia organizes, for the seventh time, the University Welcome Race to be held this Thursday, October 25, at 6:00 pm, with departure and finish in the parking lot of the sports facilities of the Espinardo Campus.
The route is affordable for anyone, whatever their physical condition, and will be held in the Espinardo Campus over a distance of approximately 5000 meters.
The route will include a part of the green pedestrian path and also the southern area of ​​the ring of the Espinardo Campus.
Throughout the tour, the organization will provide water supplies and health assistance points.
It is an event offered to the university community and, for the first time this year, to society in general, with the intention of promoting regular sports and a healthy lifestyle.
A last minute registration will be enabled in the stadium for all those who have not been able to sign up within the deadline.
After the race, trophies will be awarded for the first three classified in the different categories.
And, in addition, the participants will add 4.5 cumulative hours to obtain credits and points for the Rector's Trophy.
It is possible that, due to the organization of the event, some car parks adjoining the development of the event may be temporarily limited while the race runs, so it is recommended to use those located in the north of the Espinardo Campus.
