The Councilor for Finance, Recruitment and Urban Mobility, Eduardo Martínez-Oliva, has reiterated that 'the specifications of the contracts are drawn up by the technical services, not by politicians, although Citizens does not seem to want to know'.
The 'malicious innuendos' made by the spokesman of Cs, suggesting that it has become' a tailored suit for a company, does not have to report it in the media, but where it should, and that risks the consequences that can have not been able to prove their insinuations', affirms Martínez-Oliva, because 'it is very easy to throw the stone and hide the hand', he adds.
The popular councilor insists that 'raising suspicions, simply by letting them fall, can not be allowed.
If you have something, go where you need to go, but it is not lawful to raise doubts without a single hint, just with a 'we think that' or 'we believe that'.
Regarding the specifications of the garden maintenance contract referred to by the spokesperson for Citizens, it has been prepared by the technical services of the area and, subsequently, as is the case with all the bids of the City Council, informed by the legal, contracting and intervention.
Therefore, 'Citizens is questioning the work of all these professionals who have ruled favorably on this file', underlines Martínez-Oliva.
It also explains that the term of public presentation of a document is determined by the municipal services, in accordance with the time frame established by law.
If any company interested in a contract considers the time foreseen insufficient, it has the possibility to claim when it is in public exhibition.
