The Catholic University of Murcia will give two seminars on the strategic environments that Spain has to face in terms of defense.
The meetings will take place at the Jerónimos Campus, in the university's assembly hall.
The conference began this week with the intervention of the renowned analyst Florentino Portero, director of the Institute of International Policy at Francisco de Vitoria University and expert analyst in international relations and security.
Portero spoke about the projection of Spain in North and South America.
The seminar was opened by Lieutenant Colonel of the Air Force, Alberto Gallego Gordon, researcher and analyst on defense issues.
His conference was based on the national security strategy published last year, which replaced that of 2013. A document that marks the political agenda in aspects such as defense, security and international relations.
The days that are directed by the Vice-rector of Communication and International Relations, Pablo Blesa, will continue next Tuesday, October 23, with the presentation of Carlos Echeverría, expert in international relations and professor of the UNED and José Lorenzo Penalva Lucas, director of the department of amphibious war of the Marine Corps.
