The residents of the neighborhood of El Ranero and the urbanization of Los Rectores will have a better protection from the noise caused by the traffic of the A 30 highway from now on thanks to the placement of 569 screens.
In the first of them, 315 linear meters will be installed to close the strip that was incomplete when the Ministry of Development put a stretch.
It is also planned to put another 254.38 meters of anti-noise screens in an area of ​​Terra Natura, Tiro and the Rectors.
The Governing Board has approved today, at the proposal of the Environment Service, the order to Urbamusa of the drafting of the project and construction management to place both sections.
The budget amounts to 16,500 euros and the expected time is 3 months.
In a second phase the expansion will be undertaken to act in the area of ​​the exit from Espinardo to the highway and Joven Futura, in addition to completing the area that will remain pending of Terra Natura, the Tire and the Rectors.
The need to install these screens, which will have a variable height, is motivated by the increase in the noise level recorded on the A 30 motorway due to the increase in traffic after the extension made a few years ago.
