The PSOE advocates to recover and strengthen the Pact for Employment to respond to the unemployment rate, especially female (11/10/2018)

The Municipal Socialist Group regrets that the budget agreement between PP and Citizens has forgotten the Pact for Municipal Employment when unemployment is still one of the main problems of citizenship.

"The Pact for Employment has been forgotten and abandoned in these 2018 Budgets when it is reasonable and fair that measures are put in place that respond to these rates of unemployment, especially female," said the socialist councilor Sebastián Peñaranda.

In addition, he insisted that "the PP and Citizens, more concerned about their political ambitions, have disregarded the first concern of our neighbors, such as unemployment, and therefore have not increased the amounts allocated to promotional measures of employment. "

In this sense, "and to top it off, the government team has stopped spending money for the creation of new jobs and the fight against unemployment", so the council announces that the Socialist Group "propose a battery of measures to be discussed within the framework of the Pact for Employment and serve to strengthen policies that favor work in the municipality. "

Peñaranda will propose as a measure "a strategic plan to promote the implementation of solar farms and energy self-consumption, which can be a sector that contributes to the creation of companies and employment right now".

Finally, he pointed out that, "while employment should occupy a position of relevance in the municipal policy of the PP, it is dedicated to protect a degree of internment of the workers of the Department of Employment unsustainable and reportable."
