The installation of almost a hundred luminaires will improve the lighting in 8 streets and lanes of Casillas (11/10/2018)

The Governing Board has approved two projects to improve lighting in Casillas and Sucina, where a power of 4,870 W and 689 W, respectively, will be installed within six months.

The actions are promoted by the Department of Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, directed by Rebeca Pérez.

The aim is to reinforce and improve the public lighting installations at Avenida de Murcia de Casillas, where LED luminaires will be installed on metal poles of 8 m in height, as well as existing luminaires that, due to their age, will produce a low level of lighting.

A total of 62 luminaires will be installed, of which 16 will be completely new, to provide lighting to the final stretch of the Avenida de Murcia to Calle Cruz.

In other streets and roads of the hamlet will be completed the installation of lighting:

- Rincón de los Sánchez, 4 points,

- Calle Aragonés, 8 points,

- Calle Gavilán, 3 points,

- Lane Malandras, 5 points,

- Rail Aceros, 8 points,

- Casillas de Coria Avenue, 2 points,

- Juan Antonios Street, 3 points,

The total installed power will be 4,870 W and the project has a budget of € 75,450.

On the other hand, the lighting works of the Paseo de Cristo Resucitado de Sucina, which is not adequately illuminated as a result of the large trees that prevent the passage of light from the columns of 10 m

For this reason, the installation has been designed with columns of 4 m and luminaries of classic cut, of LED with 53 W, of power.

The columns will be fiberglass to avoid the usual corrosion problems.

The total installed power will be 689 W and the estimated cost amounts to € 19,500.
