Begins the pruning of more than 20,000 mulberry trees in the municipality of Murcia (06/10/2018)

The Department of Modernization of the Administration and Urban Development directed by José Guillén is carrying out the pruning of more than 20,000 mulberry trees located throughout the municipality.

For these works we have had a team of 45 people, distributed by groups of 8 people to arrive efficiently and coordinated to all areas.

This task is necessary to prevent the fall of fruits as well as reduce the fall of leaves in autumn that cause discomfort to pedestrians.

In order to carry out the work, all mandatory safety measures are met, including harnesses, helmets and various elements that are set by the current regulations.

It also carries out the marking of the areas where you are working to avoid any problem.

Therefore, according to a scheduled schedule that allows to act in each of the different districts of Murcia and the capital, is achieved in an organized and controlled.

The remains of branches are crushed to be reused as fertilizer in the parks and gardens of the municipality.
