City of Murcia and Terra Natura celebrate the Day of the Elderly with free tickets this weekend (28/09/2018)

The City of Murcia, through the Department of Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation and the Department of Social Rights and Cooperation, together with Terra Natura join to celebrate the International Day of Older Persons with free tickets next days 29 and 30 September for those over 60 years.

During both days, this group will have access to the park of animals and nature located in Espinardo with the possibility of enjoying the different programmed activities, such as the spectacle of raptors.

To do this, they will only have to present the DNI or document that proves their date of birth at the box office.

Both the raptor show and all the activities held at Terra Natura are aimed at all ages.

The same applies to the facilities, which are fully accessible and adapted for different audiences with different mobility needs.

The opening hours will be the usual, from 10:00 to 19:00 hours and people who prove to be over 60 years old at the ticket office, will have free access to the park (until full capacity is reached).

Throughout this week, in coordination with the Department of Social Rights, this activity is being reported in the different centers of the municipality, with the aim of having the greatest possible impact.

The International Day of Older Persons is celebrated, as every year, on October 1, but from Terra Natura and the City of Murcia has decided to advance this event in the park two days to make it coincide with the weekend.
