Pérez: "Now Murcia has invented the fall of debris from the Artillery Barracks" (26/09/2018)

The Councilor for Infrastructure, Public Works and Services has indicated that "there has been no detachment in the works of the pavilion of the Artillery Barracks that has reached the public road and, therefore, there has been no risk to pedestrians."

"The work scrupulously complies with all safety and health measures required, being perfectly fenced in the area of action where work is performed and the debris load.

In addition, the entire perimeter of the building is equipped with a protective canopy with a metallic mesh, to avoid the impact of possible objects falling.

Precisely, and thanks to the anticipation of this security measure, it has been avoided that the possible fall of objects reaches the public highway ", pointed out the councilor.

Perez has indicated that "the presence yesterday of the firefighters obeys a requirement of the Local Police, who observed a glass hooked to the protection mesh and considered it appropriate to report the incident.

The service provided by the crew displaced there was simply limited to removing the glass with a boat hook.

There was no other intervention. "

Finally, the councilor explained that "it is planned to fence the entire perimeter of the building by mid-October, following the work plan established"
