Murcia will celebrate the Day of the Major with different cultural, sports and leisure activities organized by the Department of Social Rights and Cooperation and will take place from September 27 to October 10.
The first of the activities is scheduled for next September 30, when it is planned that some thirty adults participate in the guided tour 'The Murcia of our memories', organized jointly with the Department of Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs.
Likewise, the Terra Natura park will open its doors free of charge for people over 60 years of age who visit their facilities on September 29 and 30.
On October 1, in various Senior Social Centers, Seniors Day will be celebrated, with activities coordinated and prepared by the Gerontogimnasia program monitors.
This activity will take place in Los Garres, Vistalegre, Patiño, Santo Ángel and San Basilio.
In addition, the partners of the centers of older people of the municipality can attend for free on October 10, at the Teatro Romea, the theatrical performance of the play 'Between boobies walks the Game' of the theater company Amigos del Tenorio.
Lastly, on October 29th, the exhibition 'Los Mayores Paints' will be inaugurated, made up of pictures of members and members of the social centers.
This exhibition, organized by the Municipal Federation of Social Centers for the Elderly of Murcia, can be visited at the Senior Center of San Antón.
In addition, in the three Day Care Centers of the City of Murcia will take advantage of the celebration of the Day of the Major for the development of their cultural week.
On Friday, September 28, the Barriomar CED will host the musical performance of 'La bella y la beia', while on October 4 a convivial lunch will take place with the users and their families.
Finally, on October 10 there will be a boat trip on the Mar Menor for the largest users of the Day Care Centers.
