The Social Council of the University of Murcia has called the prize 'José Loustau 2018 to the university spirit and human values' with the aim of distinguishing people who have or have had a relationship with the University that stand out for their social activity and virtues of the society of our time, the university spirit and human values.
The candidatures can be presented until next December 5th.
This award, which was first held in 1975, was instituted in memory of José Loustau and Gómez de Membrillera, who was rector of the University of Murcia during the first decades of the 20th century.
Since its first call, seventeen people have been recognized with this distinction.
