Socialist Youth of the Municipality of Murcia have completed their annual campaign "To school with what I need", with which they collect school material to denounce the lack of aid for the acquisition of such material among the families most in need.
The campaign consisted in the collection of school material for two days, which will finally be delivered to CEIP Infante Don Juan Manuel.
During these days an important number of notebooks, scissors, pens and other school materials have been collected.
In addition, on the last day of the campaign, on September 19, Juan Antonio Serrano, General Secretary of the PSOE Murcia and mayoral candidate, participated in the campaign, declaring: "Not a single boy or girl should go to school without what he needs. , I hope that the requirements for accessing aid to the people who depend on them will not continue to harden. "
From JJSS Murcia we believe that the current conditions of access to aid for the acquisition of school materials are so high that even people with real need of them are deprived of these.
For this reason we demand the City of Murcia, as did the Municipal Socialist Group in the plenary session last June, to lower the criteria for accessing aid in order to achieve a more equal education.
Finally, we see it important to thank the Murcian society for their involvement one more year with our campaign and generous donations.
