The International University of the Sea (Unimar) organizes the international seminar `Economic activities in the fields of Hispania', which will take place from 25 to 27 October in Yecla.
The archaeological excavations of the Municipal Archaeological Museum of Yecla in the Roman town of Los Torrejones are allowing to document a large villa of character aulico.
The relevance of the finding allows to raise some reflections on the rural world of Roman Hispania, in particular, on the vertebration and economic exploitation of the field and on the productive and manufacturing activities developed therein.
The objective of the seminar will be, therefore, to study the exploitation and production in the Roman rural world and to determine how the manufacturing environments were articulated in the rural settlements, analyzing their main activities that were not only focused on the agricultural sector.
The activity is aimed at an audience interested in expanding knowledge about History, Archeology and cultural heritage.
Registration will be open until September 22.
