Murcia will have a new Employment Shuttle in November to improve the employment of 20 people (17/09/2018)

20 unemployed people will be able to improve their professional skills and train a new search for teamwork, according to the new characteristics of the current labor market, thanks to the VI Employment Shuttle that will start operating in Murcia next November.

This initiative is carried out thanks to the collaboration between the Santa María la Real Foundation, the Telefónica Foundation, the City of Murcia and the Autonomous Community, with the co-financing of the European Social Fund, within the POISES operational program.

The shuttle will be destined to unemployed people between the ages of 18 and 60, of any educational level (ESO, Vocational Training, Baccalaureate, as well as university degrees or diplomas) and from any labor sector, whether or not they have previous experience .

Those interested in participating in the program, free and voluntary, have until October 31 to register through the Lanzaderas website (http://www.lanzaderasdeempleo.es/formulario-de-inscripcion) or in the format face-to-face, requesting and submitting the corresponding form at the Local Development Agency of Murcia (C / Azarbe del Papel, 22) from 9 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 8 pm.

They may also request additional information by phone 968 200 293 (Department of Labor Orientation).

The 20 people that are selected, will meet several days a week the Local Development Agency of the City.

With the guidance and guidance of a specialized technician, they will carry out various activities to optimize their job search such as workshops on self-knowledge and emotional intelligence, communication dynamics, personal branding and job search 2.0;

personal interview training;

Preparation of employability maps and visits to companies.

The Councilor for Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, Jesús Pacheco, explained that "the participants will be able to demonstrate pro-activeness and personal and professional transformation once they complete this plan".

"The shuttle is not a mere course to update the curriculum, nor is it a placement agency where we give participants work, it is an intensive program to help unemployed people activate and optimize their job search in the current market, with new techniques that allow them to gain confidence and security in the interviews, and with new activities that bring them closer to the business world, "explained the Santa María la Real Foundation.
