Los Vivancos bring to Murcia a spectacular futuristic show that unites flamenco, ballet, martial arts and music (06/09/2018)

The Romea Theater hosts on Sunday 9 and Monday 10 September the internationally successful production 'Born to Dance', within the cycle 'Theater at Fair'.

More than two million spectators in 54 countries have already experienced the extraordinary fusion of disciplines that Los Vivancos show in their productions.

The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, together with the Councilor for Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, Jesús Pacheco, and the Elías brothers, Israel and Judah Vivancos, today presented the international success show 'Born to Dance' that Los Vivancos bring al Romea on Sunday 9 and Monday 10 September, within the cycle 'Theater in Fair'.

"The Vivancos brothers get on the stage of the historic Teatro Romea for the first time and they do it with a futuristic and spectacular show that combines flamenco, ballet, martial arts and music, and that arrives in Murcia after two years triumphing all over the world ", Highlighted José Ballesta, who added that" it is a work that celebrates life through the virtuosity of these six prodigious artists. "

For the assembly of this show, Los Vivancos have been surrounded by a creative team of first level in which they have professionals in digital technology and aeronautics.

The costumes combine futuristic technology and handmade fashion, with signatures that have dressed artists like Madonna and Beyoncé.

In the scenography, which joins the risk with special effects, have had the technical advice of NASA space engineer, Eduardo García Llama.

"We wanted the scenery of the new show to be integrated as an active element, not as an adornment, Eduardo participates actively in the design of the metallic structure, the propeller in which we climb and in the invisible threads that we hang", says Elías Vivancos .

Four passes have been scheduled at the Romea Theater: Sunday 9, at 7 and 10 pm, and Monday 10, also at 7 and 10 pm.

The talent of Los Vivancos

Elijah, Aaron, Judah, Christ, Joshua and Israel are the six brothers who make up Los Vivancos.

With just five years they learned dance in the school that his father founded and each one specialized in an instrument: violoncello, violin, bass, percussion, flute ... They also learned martial arts and circus techniques, which are the main protagonists of their shows.

Thanks to his innate talent and to a disciplined artistic education in the best dance and music schools in the world, the company of Los Vivancos is currently one of the most innovative, awarded and recognized internationally.

Their elite training has led them to beat world records: Israel holds the Guinness record for the fastest zapateado: 1,317 hits in a minute.

"We get up in the morning and we do an hour and a half of ballet, then we study an instrument for two hours, in the afternoon we go a couple of hours to the gym and then we rehearse", explains Aarón Vivancos about his exercise routine.

Part of the collection of each performance of his tour (there are 150,000 tickets on sale in 17 cities) is intended to help children, in this case, through a close collaboration with the Querer Foundation, which works on research, dissemination and education of children with special needs derived from neurological diseases.
